ECTlistener is a software program developed by EyeComTec that is designed to analyze sound signals from a microphone. Depending on the length and volume of the signal, ECTlistener will emulate keystrokes and send control codes to the receiving software. This program was created to assist those with disabilities, such as those with paralysis or limited mobility, to type text letter-by-letter by using vocalization with the help of a personal computer, microphone, and both ECTlistener and ECTkeyboard programs.
